On Tuesday, the Senior Selection Committee selected India’s 15-person squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in the West Indies and the United States.
At the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, India will play their opening World Cup match against Ireland on June 5, 2024. Then, on June 9, 2024, they will play their main match versus Pakistan at the same location. After that, India will play Canada on June 15 and the USA on June 12.
The squad consists of Rohit Sharma as captain, Hardik Pandya as vice captain, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant as wicketkeeper, Sanju Samson as wicketkeeper, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohd. Siraj.
